Little Venice Music Festival 2018 – now on sale

The Berkeley Ensemble is delighted to announce the programme for the Little Venice Music Festival 2018.  This year’s Little Venice Music Festival examines the theme of Music on the Mind. From the genius of Mozart to dramatic depictions of madness, music created by extraordinary young minds as well as a thought-provoking musical survey of the subject of mental health, we explore the powerful connections between human thought and musical experiences.

As usual, we look forward to welcoming a star-studded cast of artists including baritone Benedict Nelson and mezzo-soprano Clare McCaldin. Our artist-in-residence is the superb guitarist Laura Snowden, who will be featured in a candlelit solo recital and also in Malcolm Arnold’s sublime concerto with the Berkeley Ensemble. With brand new music and classics by Schumann, Barber and Ravel, this year’s festival is a feast for the ears, as well as the mind.
