#MusicBox – bringing live music back to Little Venice

The Berkeley Ensemble is delighted to announce #MusicBox, a series of ‘pop-up’ 20-minute garden performances from duos within the ensemble.  We kick of this new series during the afternoon of Saturday 11 July, when Sophie Mather (violin) and Dan Shilladay (viola) will be bringing an eclectic mix of repertoire including Halvorsen’s arrangement of Handel’s Passacaglia, and Mozart’s Duos for violin and viola, to the gardens, yards and doorsteps of Little Venice (postcodes W9 1,2, and 3).

These socially-distanced private performances will be performed in accordance with current government guidance, in private outside spaces to audiences of up to 4 people.

A perfect opportunity for those missing live music (either yourself, or as a gift!), to inspire budding musicians, or simply to while away part of a relaxed afternoon.

Through #MusicBox, we’re excited to be bringing chamber music back to it’s roots.

Private performances cost just £79.
