To celebrate the launch of Berkeley Ensemble Online we are inviting students in Years 9-13 (age 13-18) to write a 20 second solo for one of our musicians. We’re not looking for finished pieces: we want your doodles, scribbles and sketches.
Watch our ‘meet the Ensemble’ videos to learn more about our musicians and their instruments, then choose who to write for. You might find some of our video Top Tips for Composition useful, too.
We promise to record every sketch received and will share them on Facebook and Twitter, as well as sending a copy back to you. We will do our best to do this within 7 days of receiving them, but it may take longer if demand is high.
The closing date is 1 February. Get creating!
