Fast-rising stars and champions of British music, the Berkeley Ensemble take their name from two British composers of the last hundred years, father and son Sir Lennox and Michael Berkeley. Formed in 2008 by members of Britain’s young professional orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia, they are quickly establishing themselves as one of the UK’s most dynamic young chamber groups and enjoy a busy concert schedule, performing in the UK and abroad.
