Paul Cott studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama with Richard Bissill, Jonathan Lipton and Jeffrey Bryant. After graduating, he was a member of Southbank Sinfonia, and now performs regularly with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the BBC Symphony Orchestra, as well as other major orchestras in London and further afield. Paul has also worked at the National Theatre, with the Royal Shakespeare Company, and in London’s West End, and he has played on many film soundtracks and pop music recordings. Occasionally a composer and frequently an arranger, he has written over 100 arrangements for Berkeley Ensemble projects.
